When planning a wedding, there are so many little choices that you make and each one helps you slowly curate your own wedding style. I knew I wanted a wedding that felt uniquely true to me and my future husband’s personalities. Our drawing from Nathan allowed for the story of our wedding to be told in a way that spoke to us from the first time we sent out our Save the Dates. After sending the Save the Dates, we received countless texts and calls from friends and relatives sharing how wonderful the drawing was and how much it resembled us. It was truly one of my favorite decisions in the wedding planning process and I can’t wait to include it in other ways on our wedding day itself.

We had a great experience working with Nathan for our 2023 wedding! From contact to illustration to adjustments to downloading everything was so easy. We used our illustration on our invitations, welcome sign, and stickers we gave to our guests and everyone was obsessed with how cute it was. Our wedding illustration is something I am so happy we got during the process and something that we will cherish forever.

Working with Ballpoint Chapel was such an easy, fun, and collaborative process. Nate is talented and a wonderful partner in creating a final design that is so, so special to us and our upcoming wedding. We plan on using it in a variety of ways like stationary and perhaps some silly merch for friends (my only regret is that I have to wait almost a year to have these pictures to share!). Collaborating with Nate was such a pleasant and and easy experience. When I discovered Ballpoint Chapel, I feel as though I had a certain idea of what I wanted the end illustration to look like. Nate did not disappoint. The illustration depicts me and my fiancé rushing away from the altar, officially married and very happy. In Nate's words -- "the whole thing feels musical!" I seriously cannot wait to have our family and friends see this beautiful piece of artwork on our wedding day.
